The Cause is the Origin

Behold the Foundation of Reality and the Key to its Understanding.

You ask, "What caused the Universe to be ?"

Should you not ask first, oh errant fool : "What caused me to be ?"

For the answer to both questions is the same.

That is why Man is called the Microcosmos, for he is a Reflection Below of the Infinite Above.

There is no difference, oh Child !

For it was written by Our Old Teachers at the Entrance of Temple of the Sun ΓΝΩΘΙ ΣΕΑΥΤΟΝ

And later it was plainly written to you

إن الأعلى من الأسفل والأسفل من الأعلى

The Above originates from the Below, and the Below originates from the Above.

Not the foolish, and profane translation that has fed countless seekers, straying them from the Understanding that leads to the
